CUPPING COFFEE ALPINE employs a rigorous, self-imposed higher standard for cupping and grading which results in an astonishing taste profile. We painstakingly cup every bag of coffee we buy. We cup over 2000 samples, each year. Each bag is numbered, and a corresponding sample from that bag with the same number goes to the cupping room. Better grades we keep, and we sell off the low grades. Only the best grades end up with an Alpine logo on the bag.
ORIGIN Our beans are harvested and pooled from small estate plantations in Kenya to Cameroon, Africa.
